Cadence Recreation was born from a desire to share a lifestyle where cycling isn't just a sport, but a pathway to Christian spiritual formation and connection.

Meet Dan Vandewarker Founder
Dan brings over 11 years of cycling experience and two decades as a pastor to Cadence Recreation. A father of three, he's passionate about connecting people through cycling and about understanding the initial challenges newcomers face.
He’s seen firsthand how cycling with others, including his kids, has deepened their bond and opened new avenues for adventure. Dan's vision is to help others discover these meaningful connections and joys on the bike, connecting people and God through the sport of cycling.
Meet Declan Vandewarker Co-Founder
At 14, Declan offers the fresh perspective of the next generation of competitive cyclists. Having grown up in competitive sports, he's embraced the vast world of cycling, not just for the accolades, but for the glory of God.
Declan represents the youthful energy and honest outlook that drives Cadence Recreation forward, inspiring others to find purpose and joy in their rides.
